About Us

Where Little Hearts Shine Bright

L.A. Sunshine Preschool was opened in 2026 by founder Ms. Li Li. We are located in a single family house with a large outdoor play space in the heart of Weschester, CA. We believe in celebrating diversity and fostering relationships within the neighborhood and community around us.

Ms. Li Li
L.A. Sunshine Director and Founder
Early Childhood Educator, Reggio Practitioner and Chinese Language Teacher

With over 20 years of experience in Chinese language education in China’s public school system and a specialized background in Educational Management, Ms. Li Li has dedicated her career to understanding how children learn. After moving to the U.S. and completing her studies in Early Childhood Education, she found her true calling in the Reggio Emilia approach. She firmly believes that every child possesses “The Hundred Languages,” which is rooted in the belief that children possess infinite ways to learn, explore, and communicate. In her classroom, Ms. Li Li does not see herself as a lecturer, but rather as a documenter and a co-researcher. Her greatest strength lies in “capturing the spark”—identifying those fleeting moments in a child’s daily dialogue and transforming them into deep, long-term project explorations. When you see a child covered in mud or paint, you are seeing them in a profound dialogue with the material world. Her goal is to partner with families to document and celebrate the hundred brilliant thoughts of your child.

Ms. Rosemary Reyes
Early Childhood Educator and Spanish Language Teacher

With over four years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Rosemary brings a deep passion for child development to her role as L.A. Sunshine’s Spanish language teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts, and her lifelong dream of becoming a teacher continues to fuel her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of her students. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she connects easily with diverse families and fosters an inclusive, supportive learning environment. Combining academic training with hands-on experience and the real-world perspective of being a mother to a six-year-old, Ms. Rosemary believes strongly in using creativity to spark curiosity and engagement in young learners. Teaching is more than a career to her—it is a calling, and she is committed to creating structured, compassionate, and engaging classrooms where children can thrive both academically and personally.

The Best Decision We’ve Made

Our son has been there for 2 years now and I can without a doubt say that it’s truly been the best experience for him and us. I love that it’s a home daycare because of the community-feel and openness the school and teachers bring.
